Student Activities

The Academy offers weekly study of tap, ballet, and jazz dance classes with our professional, award-winning instructors. Our courses are available in beginning through advanced level, plus elective classes can include lyrical, hip hop, and cheer.

Students learn to defy gravity in our state-of-the-art tumbling gym with our certified, accomplished, and caring instructors who value both safety and excellence.

We offer performances twice per year on our community's grandest stages. In December, we put on a Classic Christmas Recital. In June, we complete the year with our Annual Spring Showcase at the Seaside Convention Center. In addition we also provide opportunities for students to be invited to our Competition Teams and our bi-annual Disneyland performance in California.

The Academy prepares its students for responsibility, various leadership roles, and peer accountability through a formal student election process which culminates in organizing student events such as Spirit Days and Holiday Parties.

Students earn a sense of belonging, and gain self-confidence by working within their community to raise money for their own tuition. We offer multiple fundraisers yearly for students to participate in.

The Encore Shuttle provides fun field trips to our North Coast beaches, local national parks, and other key locations for recreation, discovery, and teaching opportunities outside of the classroom.
